Day o1 Dear No One, When I woke up today at 3:38am I was convinced it was going to be the worst first day of school of my entire life. Daddy was sleeping on the bed next to mine. His awfully loud and annoying snores weren't even the half of it. He couldn't sleep for 2 hours straight! He kept shifting on his bed, which gave a creak that pierced through the silence of the night. I've told him time and time again that it's not fit to make up a night's lost sleep during the day because it would only alter his body clock. Clearly, he was not to be undermined. So he sleeps a lot during the day and hardly ever at night. Last night was no different. And it made me lose my sleep. My patience was waning and so I got up, picked up my J758 from underneath my pillow and went down the stairs to the couch to get a few minutes' shut eye. I had to wake up at 5:10am and get ready for school. The air was cool and the silence, calming. I was finally going to get back to my sleep. Suddenly, I heard footsteps on the staircase. The kitchen light was turned on. I squinted at its brightness in the otherwise pitch dark room. I turned to look at the time on my cellphone, 4:48am. Crap. "It's hopeless." I muttered under my breath. I got up and showered. I happen to have an open wound on the big toe of my left foot so I couldn't wear my new shoes to the first day of the new school year. So I settled with my very green, very unflattering wedges (and I say this with reluctance but I couldn't wear my heels). What a great way to start the year. People noticed. The school physician put me on antibiotics. The nurse wrapped the gauze around my toe a bit too tight, I had to cringe to stop myself from screaming the rest of the day. My friends and I spent most of the day at the mall. Not that that was the intention. Early last night, texts spread that we were asked to come to school early tomorrow (that is, today) to check the orientation schedule to be conducted by the dean. As it later turned out, our class starts at 3:30pm. The malling would have been fun if it weren't for my toe thing and the lost sleep and the misinformation about the class schedules. 3:30pm. Review Class. Exam, really. No. Exams, actually. Three, to be exact. Three sets of exams about community health nursing. The PDs and RAs and the CBRs and all. May I say this in the nicest way possible? CHN sucks. But it's important.. and think of all the people we could help with this stuff! *sigh* At quarter past 6, all papers were turned in and so the checking kicked in. My scores were not half bad. Actually, they were pretty high! I couldn't help but smile. It's worth it, I thought to myself. I got home around 8pm, exhausted. Now let's get some real sleep tonight! All Things Intro

Last year I was going to put up a pink/punk blog theme on a previous blog but again, I was having problems with the coding part. I am certainly not the novice at CSS and html I once was but admittingly, I suck at coding for frames. It would be nice to get a little help, though <3 This year, I am going for a cartooney, sticker/paperdoll, yummy green-and-pink hues vibe. I'll be changing images (particularly the header) every other month. So images run from June-July, August-September, October-November, and so forth. I also have a sidebar where you can check out my scrapbook, view friends on their own webpages, chat on the chatbox, visit my deviantart and friendster accounts, use codes to link back to my blogsite, and even score free images (I'm making new ones every month so be sure to check back often!). My dreams of one day becoming a writer may have ____ to smithereens years ago but I'd like to think I'm still keeping that part of myself close by keeping a blog. What do you think of this blog? What part/s do you think need/s some tweaking? comments and suggestions are very much appreciated. Much love. Freebies Section

Like most bloggers, I go way back and have done a lot of host-hopping over the years. I began in 2001 with my very first web site, much thanks to the then free site hosting services of Homestead. I initially wanted a web site because I thought having one would cover all the fields of interests I had. I wanted it to have a blog section and sections where I could put up my stories and lyrics to my songs. I also wanted a section where I could post my articles. Can you tell I was an aspiring writer back then? I was never really good at the coding part but I've always wanted my own designs for the layout.
